SPECIAL EDUCATION PHILOSOPHY STATEMENT
Elementary Special Education
The Elementary Special Education Department provides individualized education in the least restrictive environment, follows district curricula to the extent possible, and empowers all to attain their personal best and independence.
The Elementary Special Education Department strives to work with parents and staff in a collegial, collaborative manner to be responsive to students' needs and to advocate for their best interests.
Our instruction will be informed, progressive and accountable according to scientifically based research.
