My name is Nathan Jarot, and I am very honored to have been selected as the next principal of Anderson Elementary School. It is my privilege to join the Anderson community, and I am looking forward to an exciting year getting to know all of the Anderson students and working with you, the parents and community members.

About Me

My educational career began 17 years ago as a 5th grade classroom teacher. I have served as a curriculum coach, mentor teacher, basketball coach, assistant principal and most recently as principal of Bell-Graham Elementary School.

My wife, Lisa, and I have lived in St. Charles for the past 15 years and we have three wonderful little boys. (Carter 6, Isaiah 3, and Silas 1) Needless to say, our home is probably similar to most of yours, filled with blanket forts, Lego battleships, muscle shows for Mom, and missing sippy cups. Most importantly it is filled with a love that translates into a deep desire to give our children the best opportunities to learn and grow every day. I commit to investing my full energy into ensuring that Anderson continues to be a safe and happy place for your child to be inspired, challenged, supported, and celebrated each day.

As I have been meeting every staff member and many parents, there is a common theme that I continue to hear about Anderson. We have amazing parent and community support, and I have learned that Anderson is a place where strong connections are made between home and school. It is also a place where all staff members are committed to helping your child succeed every day! I value these characteristics and am excited to help move Anderson along the path of excellence.

As part of my regular daily routine once school begins, you will find me out and about during morning arrivals, afternoon dismissals, and my favorite part of the day, lunch and recess. (A principal needs to eat and have fun too!) I look forward to the opportunity to meet and begin my relationship with the students, staff, and families of the Anderson community. I can be reached via email at nathan.jarot@d303.org, via phone at 331-228-6756, or just stop by the school to introduce yourself.
